Planned Giving

A lasting way to show your support for St. Louis Public Library and its efforts to enable a more literate and informed community is to consider a planned gift to the St. Louis Public Library Foundation in your will or estate plan. You can do this by designating a specific amount or a specific percentage of your estate as a gift to the St. Louis Public Library Foundation. You can also name the Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, make use of a number of life income arrangements, or designate your bequest as an endowment that will support the Library on an annual and on-going basis. And depending on your circumstances, you may be able to: reduce income, gift, and estate taxes; secure a source of cash flow for the rest of your life; and/or reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes.

Please let us know if you have already made a provision for us in your will. If you would like additional information on the wide variety of ways you can include the Library Foundation in your estate plan, please contact the Foundation President at 314-539-0360 or email at foundation@slplfoundation.org.
