Your Library Stories

We need your assistance!

We are always searching for real life stories that have been shaped by a library experience, program, book or other library interaction. These real stories assist us as we share our enthusiasm and passion for the work of our library in order to garner additional support for the St. Louis Public Library’s many programs and services as well as its numerous capital needs.

Do you have a story or experience that you would be willing to share with us for this purpose? Perhaps there is a memorable moment, a lesson learned or even a life-changing experience that was prompted by a library or librarian? We are looking for stories not only about the St. Louis Public Library but also, for the many St. Louisans who grew up elsewhere and now make St. Louis their home, experiences with other hometown libraries. No story is too big or small nor too seemingly unimportant. The work of the St. Louis Public Library is to support and improve lives by providing learning resources and information services for everyone. Please help support that mission for current and future generations of St. Louisans.

Simply fill in the online form below or call us at (314) 539-0359. Your story can make a difference! Thanks so much.
