Foundation Names 2010 Board
The St. Louis Public Library Foundation’s board of trustees has named its 2010 board members and elected officers. John Dubinsky, principal, Westmoreland Associates, will serve as Foundation board chair and also was recently appointed to the St. Louis Public Library Board by Mayor Francis Slay. Robert G. Guller, managing member, Curator Commercial Management LLC, will serve as vice chair; Lisa McMullin, community volunteer, was named secretary; and Frank Stokes, CEO, Innovate St. Louis, is the 2010 treasurer.
New board members elected this year include Maxine Clark, founder and CEO, Build-A-Bear Workshop; Gerald Early, Ph.D., Merle King Professor of Modern Letters at Washington University; and Andy Srenco, principal, Hatch Street Capital.
The 2010 board also includes these returning members: Mark C. Darrell, Alison Nichols Ferring, Gabriel E. Gore, Dudley R. Grove, Judy Harris, Stephen B. Higgins, Jacque Land, Erica Leisenring, Ann Liberman, Linda Lockwood; Waller McGuire - Library executive director; Dorte Probstein, Joseph E. Rechter, Tamee V. Reese, Lee Rodgers, Annie C. Schlafly, Thomas F. Schlafly, Glenn Sheffield, Rick Simoncelli – Foundation president and Maureen Zegel
Additionally, long-time board members Alison Ferring and Tom Schlafly will serve as co-chairs of the Central To Your World Campaign for the restoration and modernization of Central Library.
